It took a team of 3 people and a pickup 3 hours on 2 afternoons to gather 800 pounds of food for the foodshelf. Other years one person picked up 200 pounds of donations with 3 hours on 2 afternoons.
The first day bottles of water were left with a message saying we'd return in a given window of time in a couple of days. If the note was attached to a bag of food, we'd pick it up and take it to the Foodshelf. Small thank you notes were left when the food was picked up.
